Inventor 101

Happy day everyone!

This week, we will start working on Inventor software. Now, think about the fact that all of you will be working with a software used by professional engineers. While you are using the software in class today, real engineers are currently using it to design houses, bridges, ipods, computers, cars, earrings etc.

Today's Do now:

Post a comment on my blog by answering the following questions:

1. What are the things that you would like to design on the software?
2. How do you think that software will help you in the future?
3. What is the thing you are most excited about?

Welcome AWESOME sophmores!

I have been missing you all so much!

You are my true inspiration! SO please do not disappoint the teacher! We are going to use the blog a little more this year! You will have to document EVERY project that you do in class. You will basically create an electronic portfolio, in where you will document all the things you learn in class.

Benefits of electronic portfolio:

Document your learning.
Do not take space.
Organize your projects.
Enhance your computer skills.
Student collaboration.

Ms. Robles and Nature

Welcome to the Engineering blog site! This blogsite is dedicated to global warming! You will find useful information about what is currently happening with global warming and how we can help to fight it using Solar Energy.

The Sun is an essentially unlimited source of free energy—the amount of solar energy that reaches Earth's surface in just one hour is more than the total amount of energy that the world would use in a year. Furthermore, unlike the consumption of fossil fuels, the consumption of solar energy does not produce harmful emissions. The ability to capture and convert solar radiation into usable energy is a great opportunity to make use of an environmentally friendly and abundant source of energy.

Everyone can use Solar energy in your house instead of regular electricity y installing solar panels at the top of you house and to produce energy by absorbing the energy produced by the sun.

I will post a picture of a solar panel house.
